Scripture
We disciple through the scripture during our weekly bible study teaching of the word of God, where we sow seeds of truth where there is deception, healing where there is sickness, and life where there is death.
Has the Lord led you to become a fisherman of men by sharing the Good News of the Gospel but you're unsure where to begin? Join SALT as we go into the streets to witness about God's goodness through the work of our Lord, Jesus Christ.
While walking by the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers, Simon (who is called Peter) and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea because they were fishermen. And he said to them, “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.” Immediately they left their nets and followed him. And going on from there, he saw two other brothers, James the son of Zebedee and John his brother, in the boat with Zebedee their father, mending their nets, and he called them.”
Matthew 4:17-21
At SALT, we disciple through Scripture via our Bible studies, through prayer in our intercession ministry, and in missions when we witness the Good News of God through our Lord, Jesus Christ—whether online or in person.
Our discipleship approach is designed to be as informal as possible to make it easy and natural, helping individuals move into discipline while maintaining the integrity of God's Word. We believe that when discipleship is approached in a comfortable way, God's glory can be ushered in, seen, heard, and felt by both the disciple and the witness. This method also enables sharing the Good News based on the truth of God's Word, along with personal experiences and practical life applications. We accomplish this through three main avenues:
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.
Matthew 28:19-20
